Part of our job as audio-engineers-in-training is to learn all aspects of the job. For our senior capstone, we were required to choose a 5 minute segment of a film and remove all the sound. We were in charge of composing and producing a new score, replacing all sound effects, recording foley and ADR, and mixing everything together. We also had to mix the entire thing in surround.
